Audio Technician – Any candidate for this position must have a minimum of two years broad based experience in operating live sound systems or equivalent. As well, the candidate must have very good communication skills and an ability to work in teams.
A valid driver’s license is required. Ability to load audio visual equipment into our work trucks/vans and delivering the equipment to job site locations. Various custom build and/or clean up duties within the warehouse as needed.

Technician is additionally responsible for the set up and operation of audio equipment in a variety of environments. Ensures that complete customer satisfaction is achieved and is accountable for all inventory before, during and after each event.

Trouble shoots during events, solves technical problems and has the ability to find alternate solutions to multiple problems during a crisis. These solutions are based on an overall knowledge of the medium, personnel or outside specialists available and of the equipment functions.

Occasionally the Technician is responsible for collecting fees from clients, including payment for the audio technical services.
The Audio Technician is responsible for regular equipment maintenance, including cleaning and repair. Responsibilities also include ensuring equipment is returned to the shop in good condition, reporting any necessary repairs.
