Located in Northern Liberties, the Piazza at Schmidt’s is a beautifully landscaped, 80,000 square-foot, open-air plaza with free events year-round, surrounded by three new buildings including 35 artists’ studios and boutiques and four new restaurants.

Matt & Kim are a dance punk duo residing in Brooklyn, New York formed in 2004 by Matt Johnson and Kim Schifino. They have a do-it-yourself attitude toward their music with simple dance-style rhythms and energetic performances which have gained them a substantial local following, and an online presence through social networking and media sites.

The Piazza has a unique challenge: create even coverage in a large outdoor space while not bothering the local neighborhood. Clear Sound was able to stay within the limited decibel level while supporting sound, backline and even a bit of staging for this well liked duo.
