Clear Sound engineers carefully calibrate tiers of Meyer MSL-4 self powered concert speakers with BSS DSP for maximum coherence.
Events always present unique challenges, including excessive wind, traffic noise
Microphones from Schoeps, Rode, AKG, B&K , DPA and Beyer are mixed with a Yamaha PM5D-RH console.

Clear Sound has been the Philadelphia Orchestra’s preferred sound vendor at these events for many years, in locations from open fields and parks to community colleges and even Philadelphia’s City Hall.

These events always present unique challenges, including excessive wind, traffic noise, and of course, the exacting standards of the Orchestra’s sound engineer.  In order to reproduce the subtle tones of all the instruments involved, our technicians carefully set up zones in each venue, using high quality equipment to cover the entire audience area with balance and finesse.
