Lenfest Hall doubles the size of the Curtis campus. Designed by renowned Philadelphia architects Venturi, Scott Brown and Associates, the building includes: Gould Rehearsal Hall, 32 additional studios, dorms for half the student body, and dining facilities.

The building is named in honor of Curtis Board Chairman H. F. "Gerry" Lenfest and Curtis Overseer Marguerite Lenfest.  The building targets LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) at the gold level, and is integrated well into the historic facades on the block.

Clear Sound production crew was on site at the grand opening of the Curtis Institute of Music’s new Lenfest Hall providing microphones, audio control, amplifiers, speakers and power distribution for the ribbon cutting ceremony and concert.  The beautiful tent covered attendees and also sheltered our production equipment from the inclimate weather, resulting in a beautiful event despite the storm.
