Artist Yael Bartana will perform Bury Our Weapons, Not Our Bodies starting at Independence National Historical Park on September 22nd at 2 PM, and Clear Sound will be there to provide audio. This unique event includes a public procession from Washington Square Park to Independence National Historical Park, followed by the second portion of the performance at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Not all installation work is large and impressive - sometimes, a small addition makes all the difference. Several years ago, Clear Sound installed the sound system at All Saints Episcopal Church, Torresdale. As the community used their beautiful new system, they realized that the service participants, seated behind the pastor, couldn't hear the sermon well. They turned to us again, and all it took was a small monitor speaker directly over their seats. Problem solved!

Elam United Methodist Church is an active, vibrant community, and their gymnasium serves a wide variety of purposes. From basketball games and cooking classes to movie nights and after-school programs, dozens of activities are held in this multi-function space every week. Elam UMC turned to Clear Sound to install new speakers, projector and screen in the gym to help them keep up with the variety of uses for this busy shared space.
St. Joseph’s University Alumni Association hosted a panel discussion of the bioethics of healthcare costs for the nation’s 11.2 million undocumented immigrants at Moorestown Community House in Moorestown, NJ. Clear Sound provided all the audio, including the panel’s lavalier microphones, plugging into the house audio system. We coordinated with on-site technicians and the SJU media services department who was on-site, live streaming the event.

The American Cancer Society is a leader in the fight against cancer, and Clear Sound is proud to support their Relay for Life at the University of Pennsylvania. Our donated equipment helped raise funds for research, patient care services, education and prevention of cancer. In addition, this event demonstrates that fundraising can be fun, too!
The Academy of Natural Sciences Auditorium was packed to capacity hosting the Lindy Institute for Urban Innovations debut public program on November first. Titled Drexel Dialogues: Urban Innovation in Age of Trump; the event capped their three-day Urban Innovation Summit, about change, problem solving, and how to improve the lives of Philadelphians. Clear Sound provided, audio, video, lighting, playback and, camera needs. Integrating with in house equipment, to achieve a talk show style event, with video and music interludes from a live band.
When Hatboro-Horsham School District needed to upgrade the audio system in the high school’s auditorium, they chose Clear Sound to install the new system. Milt Kunz, theater director and project coordinator, said the installation team’s “greatest skills were the ability to listen to our conversations to pick out the priorities and needs of our house.
Each year, all over the country, more than 300,000 people get together with friends, family and co-workers for the MS Walk sponsored by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The Walks raise money for research, provide services to those affected by MS and to raise awareness. And every year, in Philadelphia, Clear Sound is there to provide audio support for the event.
The Griffin Complex at Gwynedd Mercy University is home to the Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Volleyball teams. The Complex hosted exciting competitions and distinguished graduations, but the attendees had a hard time hearing what was happening.
