Electrifying events. Intelligent installations. Unforgettable experiences.

Bury Our Weapons, Not Our Bodies Performance Philadelphia Museum of Art

Artist Yael Bartana will perform Bury Our Weapons, Not Our Bodies starting at Independence National Historical Park on September 22nd at 2 PM, and Clear Sound will be there to provide audio. This unique event includes a public procession from Washington Square Park to Independence National Historical Park, followed by the second portion of the performance at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Hatboro-Horsham High School Auditorium

When Hatboro-Horsham School District needed to upgrade the audio system in the high school’s auditorium, they chose Clear Sound to install the new system. Milt Kunz, theater director and project coordinator, said the installation team’s “greatest skills were the ability to listen to our conversations to pick out the priorities and needs of our house. They applied common sense solutions in coordination with sophisticated technical problem solving that I know will serve our school and community best.

Sometimes, it's just a tweak

Not all installation work is large and impressive - sometimes, a small addition makes all the difference. Several years ago, Clear Sound installed the sound system at All Saints Episcopal Church, Torresdale. As the community used their beautiful new system, they realized that the service participants, seated behind the pastor, couldn't hear the sermon well. They turned to us again, and all it took was a small monitor speaker directly over their seats. Problem solved!

Elam United Methodist Church, Glen Mills

Elam United Methodist Church is an active, vibrant community, and their gymnasium serves a wide variety of purposes. From basketball games and cooking classes to movie nights and after-school programs, dozens of activities are held in this multi-function space every week. Elam UMC turned to Clear Sound to install new speakers, projector and screen in the gym to help them keep up with the variety of uses for this busy shared space.

MS Walk Philadelphia

Each year, all over the country, more than 300,000 people get together with friends, family and co-workers for the MS Walk sponsored by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The Walks raise money for research, provide services to those affected by MS and to raise awareness. And every year, in Philadelphia, Clear Sound is there to provide audio support for the event. We design the system at the bottom of the Art Museum steps to ensure that everyone hears the important announcements and upbeat DJ music that keeps spirits up.

Gwynedd Mercy University Griffin Complex

The Griffin Complex at Gwynedd Mercy University is home to the Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Volleyball teams. The Complex hosted exciting competitions and distinguished graduations, but the attendees had a hard time hearing what was happening. Like many gymnasiums, the Griffin Complex is extremely reverberant, making intelligibility, or the ability to make out what someone is saying, a distinct problem. Sound waves bounce off hard surfaces all over the space, overlaying what is coming out of the speakers, so those listening can’t make out what announcers are trying to say.

SJU Alumni Advancement at Moorestown Community House

St. Joseph’s University Alumni Association hosted a panel discussion of the bioethics of healthcare costs for the nation’s 11.2 million undocumented immigrants at Moorestown Community House in Moorestown, NJ. Clear Sound provided all the audio, including the panel’s lavalier microphones, plugging into the house audio system. We coordinated with on-site technicians and the SJU media services department who was on-site, live streaming the event.

Dragon Boat Festival

With a history dating back to ancient China, the Philadelphia International Dragon Boat Festival meets every fall for a day of fun and competition on the Schuylkill River. Teams of paddlers, each with a steersperson and drummer, race for glory in this regional event. Emphasis is on teamwork, and the sport attracts a huge variety of participants – young and old, male and female, with a wide range of fitness levels and abilities. Groups are comprised of service groups, corporations, small businesses and high schools.

Intimate, natural-sounding dialogue in a sold-out theater. Crisp, intelligible announcements in a packed stadium. Exhilarating lights and music at an outdoor summer festival. A stirring sermon reaching every corner of a cavernous church.

Sounds like the work of Clear Sound - the Delaware Valley's best full-service audio, video and lighting company.
