Event Production - Races and Parades
For over 40 years, Clear Sound has been a key element in Philadelphia area races and parades. Race planners have come to rely on Clear Sound for sound and event production because Clear Sound is a proven and trusted provider, provides comprehensive service, and gives customers top expertise while having a local focus. And we’re proud to say that, year after year, they come back. The Philadelphia Marathon, the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s MS Walk and City to Shore and the Broad Street Run are just a few examples of events for which Clear Sound has provided audio support for many consecutive years. We continually develop new, innovative design solutions to incorporate advances in technology and address changing needs. Additionally, Clear Sound is a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (I.A.T.S.E.) Local 8, so they operate a union shop and are able to provide union payroll and labor brokering for clients' crew requirements.
Proven and Trusted Provider
Clear Sound is the long time sound and event production partner for Philadelphia races and parades. Clear Sound has been involved in many of these events from their inception, and has formed close relationships with race organizers. Year after year, race organizers know they can depend on Clear Sound for all sound needs.
Clear Sound's experienced technicians are able to assure customers that all of their audio and visual needs and challenges will be met. For instance, Philadelphia race coordinators have come to depend on Clear Sound effectively placing equipment throughout the race course to guarantee that all messages will be heard loud and clear.
Clear Sound goes above and beyond just sound systems by providing customers with comprehensive event production services. By knowing the right questions to ask race planners, Clear Sound helps make the planning for complicated events like races and parades easier for organizers. Common questions that Clear Sound asks include:
- How many announcers, music sources, recorded messages, advertisements will need to be heard?
- Are those sources all physically in one place, or are they in different locations?
- How many people will need to hear and understand the messages, and how physically far apart are they?
A number of diverse components are required to answer these questions – wireless microphones systems, broadcast audio distribution, speakers, power generators, and knowledgeable technicians to coordinate with other supporting vendors ahead of time, set it up and take it down on time, and operate the system during the event. Clear Sound is able to handle all sound and event production issues, leaving race planners with one less aspect to worry about.
