Temple Performing Arts Center Installation

Clear Sound was contracted to install a new Meyer loudspeaker system in the Temple Performing Arts Center, formally known as the Baptist Temple.  The system includes 24 M’elodie Ultracompact High Power Curvilinear Array Loudspeakers along with six 500-HP subwoofers. The Gaileo 616 digital signal processor is used to control the system. Clear Sound is the exclusive dealer of Meyer Sound products in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
The Baptist Temple was built 120 years ago but was only purchased by the university in 1974. It is certified by the Philadelphia Historical Commission as a Historic Building and was designated as a Landmark Building by the American Institute of Architects in 2003.
Throughout its history, The Baptist Temple was an important stop for Martin Luther King Jr, Helen Keller, President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Margaret Mead.  Today the Temple Performing Arts Center is the newest addition to the north end Avenue of the Arts.  The customer was very pleased with the outcome of this installation as reaches their goals for the performance space.

When Hatboro-Horsham School District needed to upgrade the audio system in the high school’s auditorium, they chose Clear Sound to install the new system. Milt Kunz, theater director and project coordinator, said the installation team’s “greatest skills were the ability to listen to our conversations to pick out the priorities and needs of our house.

Each year, all over the country, more than 300,000 people get together with friends, family and co-workers for the MS Walk sponsored by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The Walks raise money for research, provide services to those affected by MS and to raise awareness. And every year, in Philadelphia, Clear Sound is there to provide audio support for the event.

The Griffin Complex at Gwynedd Mercy University is home to the Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Volleyball teams. The Complex hosted exciting competitions and distinguished graduations, but the attendees had a hard time hearing what was happening.

Intimate, natural-sounding dialogue in a sold-out theater. Crisp, intelligible announcements in a packed stadium. Exhilarating lights and music at an outdoor summer festival. A stirring sermon reaching every corner of a cavernous church.

Sounds like the work of Clear Sound - the Delaware Valley's best full-service audio, video and lighting company.
