Hava Nagrilla Beth Hillel-Beth El

On August 27th, people gathered at Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El in Wynnewood for Hava Nagrilla, the first kosher smoke BBQ competition in the Greater Philadelphia area sanctioned by the Kansas City BBQ Society. Hosted by The Men's Club, the event benefited the Jewish Federation of Philadelphia Mitzvah Food Project and the Narberth Community Food Bank, and included a barbeque competition with expert judges, live music, mechanical bull-riding and a pickle-eating contest. According to planners, “The goal is to promote Jewish values and kindle community spirit, while enjoying sumptuous beef ribs and brisket, chicken thighs, turkey legs and duck…smoked ‘low and slow’ to perfection.” The Clear Sound was proud to participate, providing the sound reinforcement for announcements and music at the fun, family event.

Each year, all over the country, more than 300,000 people get together with friends, family and co-workers for the MS Walk sponsored by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The Walks raise money for research, provide services to those affected by MS and to raise awareness. And every year, in Philadelphia, Clear Sound is there to provide audio support for the event.

The Griffin Complex at Gwynedd Mercy University is home to the Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Volleyball teams. The Complex hosted exciting competitions and distinguished graduations, but the attendees had a hard time hearing what was happening.

With a history dating back to ancient China, the Philadelphia International Dragon Boat Festival meets every fall for a day of fun and competition on the Schuylkill River. Teams of paddlers, each with a steersperson and drummer, race for glory in this regional event.

Intimate, natural-sounding dialogue in a sold-out theater. Crisp, intelligible announcements in a packed stadium. Exhilarating lights and music at an outdoor summer festival. A stirring sermon reaching every corner of a cavernous church.

Sounds like the work of Clear Sound - the Delaware Valley's best full-service audio, video and lighting company.
