The George Clinton Funk Fest at the Robin Hood Dell East
The Dell Music Center formerly the Robin Hood Dell East has re-opened. Managed by the City of Philadelphia’s Department of Recreation, this venue was originally built in 1929 as the summer home of the Philadelphia Orchestra. The legendary amphitheater hired Clear Sound to provide the A/V support for an eight week summer concert series, including The George Clinton Funk Fest.
George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic tour 200 days out of the year in Europe, Asia, Africa and the USA. Alongside James Brown, George Clinton is considered to be one of the most sampled musicians ever. Clear Sound was honored to provide support for this renowned talent in the revitalized historic venue providing full coverage for the front of house, stage and monitors.
