Mandell Theater at Drexel University

The Mandell Theater is a 424 seat proscenium theater that serves as the primary performance venue for performances by the Theater, Music, and Dance programs at Drexel University.
Mandell is also used for Drexel University events and special presentations by outside organizations.

Clear Sound was hired to update the existing technology by replacing the audio equipment. Using QSC line array technology for the main PA system, seven line array speakers with integrated flown subwoofers for additional low-frequency impact were hung from each side of the proscenium. This loudspeaker technology provides exceptional fidelity and coverage of the seating for any event, from a lecture through theatrical presentations to a battle of the bands.
The Mandell Theater is a professional quality performance space that equals any theater to be found in Philadelphia; Drexel University’s venue enjoys wonderful sound coverage provided by the addition of the line array.

When Hatboro-Horsham School District needed to upgrade the audio system in the high school’s auditorium, they chose Clear Sound to install the new system. Each year, all over the country, more than 300,000 people get together with friends, family and co-workers for the MS Walk sponsored by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The Walks raise money for research, provide services to those affected by MS and to raise awareness. And every year, in Philadelphia, Clear Sound is there to provide audio support for the event.

The Griffin Complex at Gwynedd Mercy University is home to the Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Volleyball teams. The Complex hosted exciting competitions and distinguished graduations, but the attendees had a hard time hearing what was happening.

Intimate, natural-sounding dialogue in a sold-out theater. Crisp, intelligible announcements in a packed stadium. Exhilarating lights and music at an outdoor summer festival. A stirring sermon reaching every corner of a cavernous church.

Sounds like the work of Clear Sound - the Delaware Valley's best full-service audio, video and lighting company.
