104.5 Winter Jam at the Piazza at Schmidt's

The 104.5 Winter Jam at the Piazza at Schmidt’s featuring the bands Valencia, Bayside and Terrible Things went on this year despite the over a foot of snow  in the open-air plaza during the week leading up to the event. Crews worked diligently to clear it out in time for the show to go on.
Crowds started arriving a full two hours before Terrible Things, a local West Chester pop rock super-group, kicked things off. The Winter X-Games were broadcast on the 40’ outdoor screen between performances, while attendees were also invited to snowboard on a terrain park inside the Piazza sponsored by BC Ironworks.
The afternoon also included performances by Valencia, a local Philadelphia band and Bayside from Queens, NY. The event was similar to the monthly summer block parties also held at the Piazza.

Each year, all over the country, more than 300,000 people get together with friends, family and co-workers for the MS Walk sponsored by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The Walks raise money for research, provide services to those affected by MS and to raise awareness. And every year, in Philadelphia, Clear Sound is there to provide audio support for the event.

The Griffin Complex at Gwynedd Mercy University is home to the Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Volleyball teams. The Complex hosted exciting competitions and distinguished graduations, but the attendees had a hard time hearing what was happening.

With a history dating back to ancient China, the Philadelphia International Dragon Boat Festival meets every fall for a day of fun and competition on the Schuylkill River. Teams of paddlers, each with a steersperson and drummer, race for glory in this regional event.

Intimate, natural-sounding dialogue in a sold-out theater. Crisp, intelligible announcements in a packed stadium. Exhilarating lights and music at an outdoor summer festival. A stirring sermon reaching every corner of a cavernous church.

Sounds like the work of Clear Sound - the Delaware Valley's best full-service audio, video and lighting company.
