Installation

Founded in 1877, Bryn Athyn College is a liberal arts college with a spacious and green 130-acre campus is located in Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania.  The Theodore and Sally Brickman Center for Student Life and Admissions, is a 28,000 square foot facility serving as the welcome center for Bryn Athyn College.

Temple Beth El's eleven-acre campus in Voorhees, NJ, includes an award-winning Early Childhood Center and Religious School, Sanctuary and Chapel, Landau Peace Garden, Banquet Hall, Library and Learning Center, Youth Lounge, Beit Midrash, and Gift Shop. The synagogue building is 85,000 square feet fitted with beautiful imported Jerusalem stone and marble, creating a welcoming and inspiring space with highly reflective sound surfaces.

The Mandell Theater is a 424 seat proscenium theater that serves as the primary performance venue for performances by the Theater, Music, and Dance programs at Drexel University.
Mandell is also used for Drexel University events and special presentations by outside organizations.

Lower Merion School District in Montgomery County, PA desired a substantial upgrade for two middle school auditoriums. Clear Sound Inc. was selected as the vendor of choice for the projects. Welsh Valley Middle School received a comprehensive upgrade of sound and lighting while Bala Cynwyd Middle school received an entire new sound system.

Swarthmore College’s beautiful baseball field was a charming place to watch a game, with just one problem:  nobody could hear the game announcements. Clear Sound installed a system that provided the ideal combination of outdoor ruggedness with ease-of-use. Four Community speakers offer excellent speech intelligibility over the bleachers, giving the field thorough, well-balanced coverage.  

Built in 1921, Princeton University’s Baker hockey rink is a cherished piece of Princeton Athletics history.  As part of a decades-long campaign to improve the rink while maintaining its architectural charm, the University hired Clear Sound to provide expertise in upgrading the outdated audio system.

Every year, tens of thousands of fans crowd into the historic Franklin Field stadium at the University of Pennsylvania to enjoy the Penn Relays:  a fast-paced track and field event that has been a Penn institution since 1894.

School gymnasiums pose a specific challenge when it comes to sound design:  they’re used for a wide range of purposes, from sports to graduation ceremonies, all with distinct audio needs. 
Knowing Clear Sound’s reputation for tricky installations, The Haverford School came to us for a new audio system in their unusually reverberant double gymnasium.  An added challenge?  The installation had to be complete in time for graduation – just two weeks away.

Founded in 1888 by a small group of aspiring actors at the University of Pennsylvania, The Mask and Wig Club is a venerable institution dedicated to theatrical comedy.  The group founded its headquarters in a former stable in 1894, hiring prominent Philadelphia architect Wilson Eyre to convert the historic property, and bringing in Maxfield Parrish to decorate the theater. 

When Kesher Israel realized they needed to upgrade their sound system just a month before the Jewish holidays, they called Clear Sound.  Clear Sound immediately swung into action, visiting the synagogue and creating a proposal in short order.

When Hatboro-Horsham School District needed to upgrade the audio system in the high school’s auditorium, they chose Clear Sound to install the new system. Milt Kunz, theater director and project coordinator, said the installation team’s “greatest skills were the ability to listen to our conversations to pick out the priorities and needs of our house.

Each year, all over the country, more than 300,000 people get together with friends, family and co-workers for the MS Walk sponsored by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The Walks raise money for research, provide services to those affected by MS and to raise awareness. And every year, in Philadelphia, Clear Sound is there to provide audio support for the event.

The Griffin Complex at Gwynedd Mercy University is home to the Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Volleyball teams. The Complex hosted exciting competitions and distinguished graduations, but the attendees had a hard time hearing what was happening.
