When Bryn Athyn Cathedral finally decided to replace its outdated audio system, they selected Clear Sound as their contractor. For this project, Clear Sound worked closely with leaders of the Cathedral to ensure that all of their wants and needs were met. They custom designed a system for the Cathedral based around Renkus-Heinz Iconyx digitally steered line source loudspeakers.

These speakers are tall and slender, and were able to be easily integrated into the columnar architecture in the sanctuary. Furthermore, various pieces of equipment were placed throughout different areas of the Cathedral, in order to optimize the sound quality of the individual sections.

Congregation Beth El needed a new audiovisual system, and chose Clear Sound to design the system. The synagogue itself features three distinct technical areas – a mixing room, an amplification room, and a sanctuary. In the mixing room, Clear Sound decided to place a desk stand with a mixing console, wireless microphones, and a CD player, while in the amplification room Clear Sound installed all interconnections, processing and amplification equipment. The main sanctuary of Beth El, unique because the overflow areas consisted of operable air-wall dividers was a challenge. To address this unique structure, Clear Sound decided to install individual PA system controls in each of the areas in order to provide the flexibility of holding separate meetings simultaneously. Additionally, Clear Sound's new sound system design provided coverage in the sanctuary, social hall, and chapel.

Doylestown United Methodist Church, located 40 miles outside of Philadelphia chose Clear Sound to complete their video display system upgrades.  Clear Sound engineers decided that the WrapAround Clarion screens by Draper would best serve the congregation as they allow for the image to extend from edge to edge.  The congregation didn’t want to see black frame on yellow walls.

Miller Chapel is the center of worship life at Princeton Theological Seminary, hosting daily services, musical presentations, audio/video recordings and remote transmissions.  When the Seminary decided to upgrade their outdated audio/video systems, they called Clear Sound.

Intimate, natural-sounding dialogue in a sold-out theater. Crisp, intelligible announcements in a packed stadium. Exhilarating lights and music at an outdoor summer festival. A stirring sermon reaching every corner of a cavernous church.

Sounds like the work of Clear Sound - the Delaware Valley's best full-service audio, video and lighting company.
