We’ve worked with the Springhaven Club in Wallingford on a number of projects over the years, and we know they’re always on the lookout for ways to enhance their members’ experience. We were delighted to help them upgrade the pool’s cabana bar area with TVs. Since it’s outdoors, not just any TV would do – they needed to be visible in the bright sunlight of daytime.
Princeton Theological Seminary is a Presbyterian school located right next to Princeton University in New Jersey. Their Miller Chapel already had a fine audio system installed by Clear Sound several years ago, but like most thriving communities, their technical needs have grown and evolved over the years.
Welcome, please watch the below video highlighting our virtual event and live streaming service capabilities for customers.
During this time of pandemic and necessary restrictions on gatherings to ensure the safety of all, it’s easy to conclude that all events are impossible. However, as our company and customers have demonstrated, that is simply not true. There are flexible options still available that make use of technology, comply with regulations and practical health concerns and deliver fun and memorable experiences.
The installation team just completed the installation of a Listen Technologies ListenLOOP audio induction loop system at Wesley Enhanced Living Mainline.
Germantown Academy wanted to have their graduation this year as live as they could, while still making the ceremony accessible to as many people as possible despite restrictions on the number of attendees. The school wanted the students to process their traditional path and allow the backdrop of iconic school architecture for photos, so a live event was preferable. However, with the restrictions on numbers of people allowed, the students and their families could not all congregate in the same area in the normal way. We worked with them to create a hybrid virtual-live event.
The current regulations dictate social distancing and smaller gatherings, but some events like graduations are intended to celebrate with whole families, recognizing the accomplishments of the students together. These necessary restrictions have been a challenge for graduation planners and audio visual companies like us alike. However, we've redesigned several graduations this year with new regulations in mind: instead of having the ceremony in a gym or auditorium, we're moving to football fields so attendees can space out safely.
Did you miss the Wawa Welcome America celebration this past weekend? So did we, sort of – for years, we’ve looked forward to the Pops concert in front of Independence Hall. Due to COVID-19 health and safety restrictions, the traditional large gathering was not to be this year, but, with Clear Sound’s help, the Philly Pops found a way to hold their concert anyway. The Pops performed in an empty Met Philadelphia, with the strings separated from one another and wearing face masks while the brass and woodwinds played behind acrylic panels.

The graduation ceremony at St. Joseph’s University required Clear Sound’s expertise in two areas: the specific challenges posed by commencement events, and the difficulties of providing intelligible sound inside a tent. Our team decided to use a distributed loudspeaker system throughout the 100' x 300' ft. tent, which we divided into targeted zones for optimal control and clarity. The ceremony was an unqualified success: every graduate’s name was heard by their loved ones.
Swarthmore College’s beautiful baseball field was a charming place to watch a game, with just one problem: nobody could hear the game announcements. Clear Sound installed a system that provided the ideal combination of outdoor ruggedness with ease-of-use. Four Community speakers offer excellent speech intelligibility over the bleachers, giving the field thorough, well-balanced coverage.
When Vista Peru, Old City’s much-anticipated new eatery, needed a high-end audio system, they turned to Clear Sound.
