Like every other company in the audio-visual installation and production industry, Clear Sound continues to adapt to the ongoing AV supply chain issues. Certain audio-visual equipment we provide for installation projects in secondary schools, colleges and universities, houses of worship, corporations and other organizations continues to be delayed for current orders and scheduled far out into 2023 for new orders. Some manufacturers are quoting up to eight months out.
Similarly, the audio-visual equipment stock we rent becomes stretched as more organizations are needing to supplement their current AV equipment for special events/productions. We are equally as frustrated as our customers are by these supply chain and manufacturing issues, but the vendors providing the equipment face many of the same challenges within their own domestic or international networks. This is a global system wide problem, and the audio-visual industry is one among many others dealing with time delays and missed deadlines.
We continue to investigate ways to procure quality equipment for our customers. Not all projects require months to complete and our advice to customers who may be waiting to sign off on a quote or delaying projects due to supply chain issues, is to talk to us about your AV needs and let us furnish you a quote. The quicker decisions are made to move forward with a project, the quicker we get you into the queue and the sooner the equipment for your project will be delivered and can be installed.
